It is about that time again. We will be celebrating the New Year in two days; but before the infamous countdown commences, a few other countdowns usually take place.
It is around this time that we are bombarded with what I like to call The Best Of lists, which wring at our nostalgic hearts and remind us of the funniest, ugliest, scariest, most unbelievable, most scandalous moments of the past year.
Coming across these lists is inevitable, created for almost every field: fashion, sports, media, technology, etc. So I have gathered a few of The Best Of lists that I have encountered. Let us take a look back at the most memorable moments of 2012.

No one could stop talking about the Summer Olympics this year; therefore, it is not surprising that Olympic moments practically overtake the list. This list also includes the Giants’ Superbowl win, Linsanity, McKayla’s meme and more.

I am not a sports person at all, so it is rare that I see sport players out of their uniforms. Going through this list was an eye opening experience. It’s hard to believe that there are 26 of them. They are all pretty funny.
