Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at {camp_name}, you will lead swimming programs and offer personalized individual and group lessons for children of all ages and abilities. This position is perfect for students at who have a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers and foster a deep appreciation for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team at {camp_name} in Redding, CA.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, giving feedback and guidance as necessary
Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, ideally in an instructional setting
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledgeable in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creativity in teaching
• Strong behavior management skills, capable of handling challenging situations calmly
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children
