Gridley Gators Swim Team seeks Summer Swim Instructors in Biggs, CA

As a Swim Instructor at Gridley Gators Swim Team, you will be responsible for leading swimming programs and conducting individual and group lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who have a genuine love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers and cultivate a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Swim Instructor to join our team in Biggs, CA.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of various ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering feedback and guidance as necessary

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, especially in an educational or instructional setting
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Proficient in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, handling challenging situations with calmness and professionalism
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus, indicating an understanding of working with children in a structured environment!
